Val Verde Cannellini Beans are sourced from only the most reliable growers in Italy, and selected from only the highest quality crop. They are an excellent source of iron, magnesium, folate and protein and they are low in fat. They are very popular in many types of European cuisine (particularly in Spain, Italy and France). In Tuscany, Cannellini beans are often dried instead of cooked.
