Farfalle No85


Rummo Farfalle #85 commonly known as the bow-tie pasta, but the name is derived from the Italian word farfalla which means butterfly. The shape is very versatile and can be used in a range of dishes, but more than anything is a winner with the kids because it is fun.  This pasta is well suited for tomato and cream dishes, although it can be used well also for other dishes and even pasta salads. It has a standard thickness of 1.3mm and estimated cooking time is 14 minutes.



What to look for in this product:

•A high protein level content that makes it always ‘al-dente’

Richer, more body high quality pasta that offers resistance to the bite

Resistance to being slightly overcooked without becoming mushy

•A firm, chewy texture, al dente pasta without being dry or breaking

Consistent quality in every pasta variety 




Suggested uses:

•Served hot, they are good with simple Moro Extra Virgin Olive oil, Cirio Rustica or cheese-based sauces.

•Try a classic a ham, pea and cream sauce with farfalle to please the kids, but don’t forget to top off liberally with Zanetti parmigiano reggiano for taste.

•Served cold, they are perfect for pasta salads
